28 patients (Ø 32 y.) after having had autologous cartilage-bone-transplantation of the talus were examined retrospective clinically (AOFAS, mod. Lysholm-Bruns, Tegner, VAS, over-all-satisfaction) and radiologically (MRI) almost 7 years postoperative. Donorsite-morbidity of the ipsilateral knee was evaluated score-based (WOMAC, Lysholm). MRI-results and clinical data were correlated as well. The outcome of this clinical and radiological research presents good to excellent results in our middle to longterm follow-up and seems to approve the local value of autologous osteochondral transplantation at the talus.
