Due to a high competitive pressure within the German horticultural retail trade, small companies in particular have to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction as well as customer loyalty. Therewith, they are able to successfully distinguish themselves from their competitors. In this study, the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty within the German horticultural retail trade is being analysed via structural equation modeling. The results are examined from a both scientific as well as practical perspective.
