Abstract:
Increasing evidence suggests that circulating microparticles (MP) exposing CD61 originate predominantly from megakaryocytes. Dramatic changes in megakaryocytic homeostasis are regularly observed following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and associated with transplantation-associated complications.
