Abstract:
Numerous manufacturing techniques for autogenous fibrin glue used as scaffold material have been described. As there is no consensus regarding the influence of chemical additives on cell biology, it was the aim of this study to establish a method for manufacturing autologous fibrin glue without any additives. The serum part was separated from whole blood. After fibrinogen precipitation, centrifugation was performed to obtain the fibrinogen pellet. Various experimental series were run to examine...     »
