Vor dem Hintergrund eines zunehmend steigenden Kosten- und Wettbewerbsdrucks in der Baubranche stehen die Unternehmen vor der Aufgabe, ihre Geschäftsprozes-se zu rationalisieren, um sich weiter am Markt behaupten zu können. In dieser Arbeit sind Optimierungspotenziale im Rahmen der Transportlogistik in der Baubranche durch den Einsatz eines GPS-gestützten Flottenmanagementsystems mit mobiler Datenerfassung dargestellt. Eine durchgängige EDV-Lösung bringt dabei sowohl im Bereich der Fahrzeugdisposition als auch bei der Lohn- und Leistungsab-rechnung der LKW und Fahrer deutliche Verbesserungen. Neben der umfassenden Datenbasis können v. a. manuelle Prozessschritte für Abrechnung und Controlling-eingespart werden. Status und Position eines LKW sind jederzeit abrufbar, wodurch eine dynamische Disposition während des Tages möglich wird. Die Fahrzeuge kön-nen dadurch effizienter eingesetzt und Kosten für die Transporte reduziert werden.      «

Due to rising costs pressure and competition in the construction industry the companies are faced with the task of economizing their business processes in order to be successful on the construction market in the future. This dissertation shows the benefits of the usage of a gps based fleet management system with mobile data recording for the transport logistics in the construction site industry. A integrated IT solution provides improvements for the scheduling of the vehicles as well as the accounting of the driver earnings and the work of the trucks. Thereby a detailed data base is generated and great savings can be achieved by reduction of manual processes in accounting and controlling. Status and positions of the trucks can be recalled at any time what allows for a dynamic scheduling during the day. Therefore trucks can be scheduled more efficiently and costs for transportation can be reduced.      «
