Abstract:
Ultrafast photoinduced electron transfer (ET) processes in dye-semiconductor systems are studied employing a first-principles based methodology. Electronic structure calculations are used to characterize the systems and to parametrize a model Hamiltonian. On the basis of this modeling procedure, accurate quantum dynamical simulations are performed employing the multilayer multiconfiguration time-dependent Hartree method.
