Abstract:
In this study, the Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA) is used to optimize the gains of the cascaded position controller. Brushless DC (BLDC) motor drives with FOC and trapezoidal control structure are implemented in Simulink environment to provide an evaluation function of ICA.
