In the thesis a holistic decision model for the management of complexity in the after-sales service is developed and empirically validated. The approach aims to optimize the after -sales service in the dimensions of strategy-, program-, process-, organizational- and resource-configuration. The model is taking special regard to the market-, competition- and product program based variables which form the economical dichotomy of external benefit potentials and internal expenses.
