- Hirnmetastasen sind weiterhin eine Herausforderung für Arzt und Patient. In dieser retrospektiven Analyse von 615 Patienten mit operierten Hirnmetastasen wurde die Stärke alter sowie neuer Prognosefaktoren hinsichtlich Gesamt-und progressionsfreiem Überleben untersucht. Hierbei zeigten sich neue Prognosefaktoren wie der (A)CCI, welcher sich auf die Begleiterkrankungen fokussiert zwar hilfreich, jedoch in Kombination mit etablierten Skalen ohne zusätzlichem Erklärungswert.
- Translated abstract:
- Brain metastases are challenging for both clinicians and patients. In this retrospective analysis of 615 patients with operated brain metastases, the strength of traditional and new prognostic factors regarding overall and progression-free survival was assessed. New prognostic factors such as the (A)CCI, which focuses on comorbidities, proved to be helpful in estimating overall and progression-free survival, but in combination with established scales without additional explanatory value.
