- Translated abstract:
- The psychoacoustic sensation "pitch strength" describes, independent from the absolute pitch, as how strong the pitch of a sound is perceived. The results of psychoacoustic experiments for a large variety of stimuli are presented and explained using modells of the signal processing of the human auditory system. Based on these findings, a modell was developed which is able to reproduce the experimental data found for synthetic and real sound stimuli qualitatively as well as quantitatively.
