Aortopulmonary collaterals are a common complication after a total cavopulmonary connection, which is a surgical treatment option for the univentricular heart. This study quantified the collateral flows using cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging at rest and during submaximal exercise. The collateral flow in the patients was at rest 14 % of the system flow, which did not change significantly during submaximal exercise.
