- Abstract:
- Trotz der hervorragenden Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit der heutigen drug-eluting stents (DES), stellen In-Stent-Restenosen weiterhin ein relevantes Problem im klinischen Alltag dar. Die Frage nach der besten Therapie bleibt jedoch noch offen. In der vorliegenden Studie wird untersucht, ob eine Vorbehandlung mit einem Scoring Balloon in Kombination mit einem DEB in der Behandlung von In-Stent-Restenosen einer einfachen Ballonangioplastie überlegen ist.

- Despite the high efficacy of drug-eluting stents (DES), the number of patients presenting with DES restenosis is not insignificant in absolute terms. The optimal treatment for DES restenosis remains a matter of some debate. We investigated the efficacy and safety of a treatment with scoring balloon before paclitaxel-coated balloon therapy versus paclitaxel-coated balloon standard lesion preparation.
