- Meine Dissertation ist eine retrospektive klinische Studie. Es wurden Daten von 120 wegen einer distalen Radiusfraktur operierten Patienten erhoben. Mittels Fragebögen wurden die klinischen Resultate und die Beweglichkeit evaluiert und die Ergebnisse mit Hilfe statistischer Tests ausgewertet und interpretiert. Der Schwerpunkt lag auf der Entwicklung einer posttraumatischen Arthrose, die radiologisch häufig festgestellt wurde, klinisch und subjektiv aber selten zu Beschwerden führte.

- My dissertation is a retrospective clinical study. Data from 120 patients operated on a distal radius fracture were collected. The clinical results and mobility were evaluated using questionnaires; the results were also evaluated and interpreted using statistical tests. The focus was on the development of post-traumatic arthrosis, which was frequently diagnosed radiologically, but rarely led to complaints clinically and subjectively.
