Ziel der Studie war die Untersuchung der Anwendbarkeit einer teledermatologischen mobilen App und die Analyse von Patientendaten und -photos im Vergleich direkter Arztkontakt versus teledermatologische Beurteilung. Bei 195 unselektierten dermatologischen Patienten erfolgte u.a. ein Vergleich der Diagnosen und Therapiemaßnahmen sowie eine Bewertung hinsichtlich einer noch notwendigen persönlichen Arztkonsultation. Es zeigte sich eine überwiegende Übereinstimmung der Erst- und Differentialdiagnosen (83,9%) sowie der Therapiemaßnahmen (85,2%). Eine Vorstellung beim Dermatologen war in 44% – 57% der Fälle als noch notwendig erachtet worden. Die Daten belegen den grundsätzlichen Nutzen der mobilen App.     «

The aim of the study was to evaluate the applicability of a teledermatological mobile app and to analyse the provided patients´ data and images comparing the face-to-face visit to the teledermatological assessment. A comparison of the diagnostic and therapeutic agreements was performed and the additional need of a traditional face-to-face visit was estimated in 195 unselected patients. A high concordance in diagnoses (83.9%) and therapies (85.2%) was found. A face-to-face visit to a dermatologist was deemed necessary in 44% - 57% of the cases. These data support the benefit of the mobile app.      «
