To improve the load dynamic of combined cycle power plants it is necessary, amongst other things, to improve the speed of the load change of the heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The objective of this thesis is to prove the functionality of a new steam generator design with natural circulation characteristics and a collector with a precipitation function through an integrated T-piece. To improve the dynamic performance of an HRSG the author, in a series of experiments, assesses a newly developed concept in which the feed water regulation is effected by heat. The author compares pre and post experiment performance data to determine the productivity improvements.
