- Abstract:
- Die Studie beschäftigte sich mit dem Einsatz der FDG-PET/CT und der Tumormarker S100-ß und MIA in der Nachsorge von 125 Hochrisikomelanom-Patienten. Verglichen wurden Sensitivität/Spezifität sowie die prognostische Aussagekraft in Hinsicht auf die Überlebenszeit. Die FDG-PET/CT erreichte die höchste Sensitivität in der Rezidivdiagnostik und stellte auch in Bezug auf die prognostische Ausssagekraft das überlegene diagnostische Verfahren im untersuchten Patientenkollektiv dar.
- Translated abstract:
- This study aimed to compare the use of FDG-PET/CT and tumor markers S100-ß and MIA in the follow-up of 125 patients with high risk melanoma. Therefore we compared sensitivity/specificity as well as the prognostic value in terms of time of survival. FDG-PET/CT showed the highest sensitivity in the diagnostics of recurrent disease and proved to be the superior diagnostic method regarding its prognostic value in the prediction of time of survival in our patient population.
