- Abstract:
- Der Boulder-Sport gewann in den letzten Jahren zunehmend an Popularität. Parallel hierzu steigt auch die Inzidenz an Boulder-assoziierten Verletzungen. Anhand von 430 Patienten, die sich in einer Notaufnahme vorstellten, wurden typische Boulder-assoziierte Verletzungsmuster identifiziert. Diese unterscheiden sich zum Teil von jenen, welche aus dem Sportklettern bekannt sind, da sie vermehrt an der unteren Extremität auftreten. Insbesondere Sprunggelenk und Knie sind betroffen.

- The sport of bouldering has become increasingly popular in recent years. Parallel to this, the incidence of bouldering-associated injuries is also increasing. Based on 430 patients presenting to an emergency department, typical bouldering-associated injury patterns were identified. These differ from those known from sport climbing in that they occur more frequently to the lower extremity. In particular, the ankle and knee are affected.
