- Die Arbeit vergleicht retrospektiv die konventionelle mit der Ultraschall-gesteuerten Neuanlage von perkutanen transhepatischen Cholangiodrainagen (PTCD) über einen Zeitraum von acht Jahren bei insgesamt 251 Neuanlagen. Die beiden Verfahren werden in Hinblick auf Durchführung, interventionellen Erfolg und Komplikationsraten verglichen. Es wird diskutiert, ob die Ultraschall-gesteuerte Neuanlage die Erfolgs- und Komplikationsraten im Vergleich mit der konventionellen Methode optimieren kann.

- This study compares the techniques of fluoroscopically and ultrasound (US) guided percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTBD) during a period of eight years in a total of 251 insertions. Both techniques are compared regarding procedure characteristics, interventional success and complication rates. The discussion aims to examine whether the US guided insertion can optimize success and complication rates in comparison to the fluoroscopically guided method.
