Soft tissue sarcomas are a rare, but heterogenic group of malignant tumours. Besides the surgical resection of the tumour, radiotherapy presents a central role within the therapeutic concept. Until today it is uncertain if the preoperative or postoperative timing of radiation of the tumour is the better choice for survival of the patient. The intention of this study is to add data to the existing set of studies and be able to give a recommendation whether we should choose one modality over the other.
