- Diese Arbeit untersucht das 2014 von Hughes et al. veröffentlichte „Single-pot, solid-phase-enhanced sample preparation“-Verfahren für Formalin-fixiertes Paraffin-eingebettetes Gewebe in Bezug auf seine Fähigkeit zur einfachen und effizienten Probeaufbereitung für die Massenspektrometrie. Im Anschluss wird das Verfahren auf eine Kohorte Analer Plattenepithelkarzinome angewandt und zwei proteinbasierte Subtypen mit prognostischem Wert ermittelt.

- This work evaluates the “single-pot, solid-phase-enhanced sample preparation” method, published in 2014 by Hughes et al., for formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue regarding its ability for easy and efficient sample preparation for mass spectrometry. Additionally, the method is tested on a cohort of anal squamous cell carcinoma in which two protein-based subtypes with prognostic relevance are established.
