- Die motorisierte Spiralenteroskopie stellt eine neue Technologie zur endoskopischen Dünndarmdiagnostik dar. Ziel der prospektiven klinischen Studie war die Evaluation von diagnostischer und therapeutischer Ausbeute, Verfahrensparametern und die Dokumentation von unerwünschten Ereignissen. Die Ergebnisse zeigten eine hohe Wirksamkeit in Bezug auf die diagnostische und therapeutische Ausbeute, außerdem Vorteile bei Verfahrensdauer, maximale Insertionstiefe, Benutzungsfreundlichkeit und Sicherheit.

- Motorized spiral enteroscopy is a new technology for endoscopic small intestine diagnosis. The aim of the prospective clinical study was to evaluate the diagnostic and therapeutic yield, procedural parameters and the documentation of adverse events. The results showed a high effectiveness in terms of the diagnostic and therapeutic yield, as well as advantages in terms of procedure duration, maximum depth of insertion, user friendliness and safety.
