- Abstract:
- The ISAR REACT 5 reticulated platelet substudy evaluated the immature platelet fraction (IPF) as a predictor of the primary endpoint in patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS) randomized to prasugrel or ticagrelor. Independently from drug treatment, the biomarker IPF was associated with the primary endpoint and therefore offers the potential as a promising tool for the prediction of adverse cardiovascular events in ACS patients treated with prasugrel or ticagrelor.

- Die ISAR REACT 5 retikuläre Thrombozyten Substudie untersuchte die Fraktion unreifer Thrombozyten (IPF) als Prädiktor für den primären Endpunkt bei Patienten mit akutem Koronarsyndrom (ACS), die zu Prasugrel oder Ticagrelor randomisiert wurden.
