The aim of this study is to compare the perinatal outcome of a narrowly defined group of late-onset SGA fetuses with a randomly selected healthy control group, and to predict an adverse perinatal outcome in the cohort of SGA/FGR fetuses using a series of longitudinal fetomaternal Doppler measurements.
Since the measurement of fetal cardiovascular function parameters is not yet a fixed standard in prenatal diagnostics, the assessment of cardiovascular remodeling in late-onset SGA fetuses was carried out using selected cardiac function parameters.
