- PCa-spezifische Ängste (PSA-Test-spezifische Angst; PCa-Angst) wurden an einem Kollektiv Langzeitüberlebender (n=2.903; Ø 16,1 Jahre Nachsorgezeitraum) untersucht und waren im longitudinalen Verlauf (2015/2020) stabil. Assoziierte Risikofaktoren für PCa-spezifische Ängste (2020) waren ein biochemisches Rezidiv und positives Screening auf Depression/Angst. Stärkster Prädiktor für PCa-spezifische Ängste (2020) war die jeweilige Angst fünf Jahre zuvor (PSA-Test-spezifische Angst: β=0,339; p<0,001 / PCa-Angst: β=0,556; p<0,001).

- Prostate cancer-related anxiety (prostate-specific antigen anxiety and prostate cancer-anxiety) was investigated in long-term cancer survivors (n= 2.903; Ø 16.1 follow-up) and remained stable over time (2015/2020). Associated predictors for prostate cancer-related anxiety (2020) was a biochemical recurrence and depression/anxiety symptoms. Strongest predictor for prostate cancer-related anxiety (2020) was the respective anxiety five years before (prostate-specific antigen anxiety: β=0.339; p<0.001 / prostate cancer-anxiety β=0.556; p<0.001).
