Abstract:
Wide-bandgap semiconductors such as Silicon Carbide (SiC) or Gallium Nitride (GaN) enable fast switching and high switching frequencies of power electronics. However, this potential can not be exploited due to limitations caused by parasitic elements of packaging and interconnections.
