Translated abstract:
This study evaluated the function and integrity of the subscapularis muscle after surgical reconstruction of isolated subscapularis tendon tears in the long-term follow-up. For this purpose, established clinical parameters and scores were collected, and quantitative force measurement and MRI imaging (including surface and diameter determination) were performed. Correlations with peri- and intraoperative influencing factors were examined. After >8 years of follow-up, both clinical-functional and radiologic results were promising, whereby the arthroscopic and open surgical techniques can be classified as almost equivalent.
