Collective dynamics of coupled oscillators spans over 300 years, from Huygens' "odd sympathy" in 1665 to the discovery of "chimera states" in 2002. We explore these collective behaviors in oscillator ensembles, focusing on their dynamics in various network topologies. The study includes Poisson chimera states, tri-stability in chimera attractors, and heteroclinic switching between saddle chimera states in different oscillator populations. Additionally, we investigate higher-dimensional oscillators, revealing complex chimera states. We also provide theoretical principles for understanding these phenomena.
