- Diese Dissertation umfasst die funktionelle und klinische Bedeutung von Cathepsin S (CTSS)-Hyperaktivität im follikulären Lymphom (FL). Dafür wurden die Biochemie der CTSS-Hyperaktivität, der zelluläre Phänotyps der CTSS-Hyperaktivität und die Auswirkungen der CTSS-Hyperaktivität in einem FL Mausmodell analysiert und mit dem Therapieergebnis in humanem FL korreliert. Abschließend wurden die Regulation und therapeutische Schwachstellen der CTSS-Hyperaktivität untersucht.

- This dissertation covers the functional and clinical significance of cathepsin S (CTSS) hyperactivity in follicular lymphoma (FL). To this end, the biochemistry of CTSS hyperactivity, the cellular phenotype of CTSS hyperactivity, and the effects of CTSS hyperactivity in a FL mouse model were analyzed and correlated with therapeutic outcome in human FL. Finally, the regulation and therapeutic vulnerabilities of CTSS hyperactivity were investigated.
