- Abstract:
- Das Ziel der Arbeit war spezifische Alterationen der retinalen Gefäßarchitektur bei Patienten mit NMOSD festzustellen und deren Zusammenhang mit der Krankheitsaktivität zu prüfen. Bei NMOSD kommt es zu einem subklinischen parafoveal betonten retinalen Gefäßverlust, der möglicherweise als Folge eines Astrozytenschadens einzuordnen ist und sich mit einem reduzierten Visus äußern kann. Die OCT-A eignet sich daher zur Evaluation subklinischer Krankheitsaktivität bei NMOSD.

- The aim of the work was to identify specific alterations in the retinal vascular architecture in patients with NMOSD and to examine their connection with disease activity. In NMOSD there is a subclinical parafoveal retinal vascular loss, which may be classified as a result of astrocyte damage and can manifest with reduced visual acuity. The OCT-A is therefore suitable for evaluating subclinical disease activity in NMOSD.
