Abstract:
Thermochemical energy storage utilising the material system CaO/Ca(OH)2 is currently investigated using fluidised bed technology. Overall goal is to develop large-scale heat storage for industrial applications at 400 °C to 600 °C. Two crucial challenges must be faced in the development of the process.
