- The rising prevalence of agile methods at scale and increasing security threats heighten the importance of integrating security in scaled agile software development environments. This dissertation contributes an overview of challenges, recurring roles, responsibilities, activities, and recommendations for integrating security in large-scale agile environments, such as a collaborative security governance and team security maturity model, balancing an identified control and autonomy conflict.
