Abstract:
Traditionally, an uncontrollable diode bridge rectifier (DBR) is employed to supply the constant DC voltage for the asymmetric half-bridge (ASHB) converter fed switched reluctance motors (SRMs), which brings about inferior AC side power quality. In this paper, a high-speed SRM drive system based on integrated power control scheme is proposed, which not only realizes the regulation of SRM but improves the AC side power quality.
