- Abstract:
- Die vorliegende Arbeit sollte die zur Diagnose einer Spondylodiszitis verwendeten Verfahren Blutkulturentnahmen und CT-gesteuerte Biopsien vergleichen, Risikofaktoren erfassen sowie Auffälligkeiten des Erregerspektrums und Zusammenhänge zwischen Laborwerten und dem Erfolg der genannten diagnostischen Verfahren analysieren. Dafür wurde eine retrospektive Untersuchung klinischer, mikrobiologischer, pathohistologischer und laborchemischer Daten von 239 Patienten durchgeführt.

- The aim of the present work was to compare blood cultures and CT-guided biopsies for diagnosing spondylodiscitis, to record risk factors and to analyze the spectrum of pathogens and relationships between laboratory values and the success of the diagnostic methods mentioned. For this purpose, a retrospective examination of clinical, microbiological, pathohistological and laboratory data from 239 patients was carried out.
