Im Zeitraum von Oktober 2013 bis Dezember 2015 wurden 28 Patienten im Alter zwischen 25 und 82 Jahren in die Studie eingeschlossen. Alle Pateinten wiesen eine Fraktur der proximalen Tibia auf. Eingeschlossen wurden, nach der AO-ASIF Klassifikation, alle Typ 41-B (16) Frakturen sowie alle Typ 41-C (12) Frakturen.Anschließend erfolgte 12 Monate postoperativ eine klinische sowie radiologische Follow-up-Untersuchung. Wir konnten in unserer Studie bei einigen klinischen und radiologischen Parametern einen Vorteil hinsichtlich des Outcomes zu Gunsten der VA-LCP® ausmachen.     «
