Abstract:
Hippocampal Lewy body pathology (LBP) is associated with changes in neurotrophic factor signaling and neuronal energy metabolism. LBP progression is attributed to the aggregation of α-synuclein (α-Syn) and its cell-to-cell transmission via extracellular vehicles (EVs).
