Abstract:
Orthopedic surgeons lack quantitative information on the mechanical response of a subject’s femur (deformations, strains, stresses, etc.). Towards this aim, patient-specific finite element simulations based on qCT scans were developed [Keyak 2001, Yosibash 2007, Trabelsi 2011].
