- Abstract:
- Neoadjuvant therapy mediates a reactivation of anti-tumoral immune responses in pancreatic cancer/PCa through selective depletion of regulatory T cells and myeloid derived suppressor cells. Furthermore, this leads to decreased stromal activation, less neural invasion and enrichment of antitumor immune cells in the PCa microenvironment. The desmoplastic reaction, tumor proliferation rate and immune cell infiltration arise as independent prognostic factors for neoadjuvantly treated PCa patients

- Neoadjuvante Therapie führt zu einer Reaktivierung der anti-tumoralen Immunantwort bei Pankreaskarzinom durch selektive Depletion von regulatorischen T-Zellen und myeloiden Suppressorzellen. Dies führt zur Unterdrückung der Stroma-Aktivierung, zu geringerer nervaler Invasion und zur Immunzellanreicherung in der Tumor-Mikroumgebung. Die desmoplastische Reaktion, die Tumorproliferationsrate und die intratumorale Immunzellinfiltration stellen sich als unabhängige prognostische Faktoren dar.
