Abstract:
An enhanced formula for prediction of runner blade strike probability of fish during turbine passage has been developed. The model explains differences in existing model approaches and provides more accurate prognosis possibilities. For absolute mortality rate modelling, the aspect of damage probability in case of blade strike has furthermore to be addressed.
