Goal of this dissertation was the evaluation of the oncological outcome and toxicity profiles for patients treated with adjuvant versus early salvage radiotherapy after radical prostatectomy. There was no difference in biochemical relapse-free survival. However, patients treated with immediate postoperative radiotherapy were at higher risk for proctitis and obstructive uropathy.
