Obwohl Zahnextraktionen beim antikoagulierten Patienten ein relevantes und in Zukunft weiter an Bedeutung gewinnendes Problem darstellen, sind Chirurgen und Zahnärzte stets mit dem Dilemma konfrontiert, ob ein potentiell lebenswichtiges Medikament abgesetzt bzw. umgestellt oder fortgeführt, und eine potentiell ebenfalls gefährliche postoperative Blutung in Kauf genommen werden soll. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit war die Identifikation von Einflussfaktoren auf das postoperative Blutungsrisiko bei Zahnextraktionen, um Handlungsanweisungen zum Umgang mit antikoagulierten Patienten zu formulieren. Die Ergebnisse der vorliegenden Arbeit stützen die Empfehlungen der 2017 erschienenen S3-Leitlinie zum Thema zahnärztliche Chirurgie unter Antikoagulanzien.      «

Although tooth extractions in anticoagulated patient are a relevant and increasingly important problem, surgeons and dentists are always faced with the dilemma of whether a vitally essential drug should be discontinued or changed, or continued with the risk of a potentially dangerous postoperative bleeding. The aim of the present study was the identification of influencing factors for postoperative bleeding risk in tooth extractions in order to formulate instructions for handling anticoagulated patients. The results of this work are based on the recommendations of the 2017 published guideline on the topic of dental surgery under anticoagulants.     «
