Abstract:
How does a UK Russell Group university library, used to supporting traditional academic programmes, meet the needs of young people who have opted to go into the workplace and study part-time? This paper explores the information literacy needs of apprentices and the expectations of their employers. It draws on the Engineering liaison team’s experience of working with the University’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre.
