Die in vivo Bildgebung von tumor-spezifischen, T-Zell-Rezeptor (TZR) transgenen T-Zellen, führt zum verbesserten Verständnis der T-Zell-Verteilung bei Immuntherapien. Zirconium-89 markierte F(ab`)2, die spezifisch an die eingebrachten TZR binden, wurden verwendet um TZR-transgene T-Zellen in einem xenogenen Mausmodell mittels Positronen-Emissions-Tomographie am Tumor zu detektieren. Unterschiedliche Verteilungsmuster wurden in Abhängigkeit der Größe und Rejektionsphase des Tumors festgestellt, die mit der T-Zell-Infiltration korrelierten. Mit Hilfe dieser Methode könnten Immuntherapien besser überwacht und optimiert werden.
