Abstract:
Der Erection Hardness Score (EHS) wurde als Ergänzung zum International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) bei der Erhebung der erektilen Funktion (EF) bei 307 Patienten 3-60 Monate nach OP untersucht. Die EHS 1, 2 bzw. 4 deckten sich mit den entsprechenden IIEF-EF Scores (1-21 bzw. ≥26). 55,9% der Patienten mit EHS 3 hatten einen zu niedrigen IIEF-EF. Die Patienten wünschten sich eine individuelle und realistische Beratung bezüglich ihrer erektilen Funktion und ihres Sexuallebens nach OP.

In 307 patients 3-60 months after surgery the Erection Hardness Score (EHS) was evaluated as an addition to the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) for the assessment of erectile function (EF). EH Scores 1-2 and 4 coincided with compatible IIEF-EF scores (1-21 and ≥26). Of the patients with an EHS of 3, 55.9% had an IIEF-EF score that was notably lower. Patients requested individually tailored, realistic counseling regarding their erectile function and sex life after surgery.
