This retrospective study compares the objective stability- and more subjective quality of outcome parameters between anatomic single- vs. double-tunnel ACL reconstruction. Overall 70 patients were examined at least 2 years after ACL reconstruction. Beside IKDC and other outcome scores, the study used the “KT1000/Laxitester“ for objective measurement of Lachmann- and rotatory stability. As a result the anatomic single-bundle- as well as the double-bundle ACL reconstruction shows statistically similiar good and stable outcomes.
