- Abstract:
- The objective of this study was to evaluate longterm outcomes of TAVR in high-risk patients with a follow-up of over 10 years. The focus was on survival, structural valve deterioration (SVD) and bioprosthetic valve failure (BVF). Survival was, as to be expected low. SVD and BVF of early THV at 12-years was low. The identified differences between valve types must be validated using current generation devices in younger patients.

- Das Ziel dieser Studie war die Bewertung der Langzeitergebnisse von TAVI bei Hochrisikopatienten mit einem Follow-up von über 10 Jahren. Die Überlebensrate, strukturelle Klappenverschlechterung (SVD) und das Versagen der bioprothetischen Klappe (BVF) stand im Fokus. Die Überlebensrate, SVD und BVF waren nach 12 Jahren gering. Die Unterschiede zwischen Klappentypen müssen mit dem Klappenersatz der aktuellen Generation bei jüngeren Patienten validiert werden.
