Present situation: Here step-by-step the total collection of slides and drawings from the "Landtechnik Weihenstephan" will be included. The project started in 2001 with a very first attempt to save all existing analogues picture material in slides and drawings. Cleaning all slides and digitizing was mainly done bitween 2003 and 2006. The collection contains all slides from the Chair of Agricultural Engineering. Also all lecturing slides from the former Bayerische Landesanstalt für Landtechnik, the Institut of Agricultural Engineering and Animal Husbandry from the State Research Center for Agriculture and from the Landtechnischer Verein were included. Additionally the total collection of all slides from the Chair of Agricultural Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Garching (TUM) is integrated.



Content: More than. 45.000 pictures from all subjects of Agricultural Engineering (as in December, 2020).

Present situation: This is the access to the slides of the Chair of Agricultural Engineering in Garching/Munich (Prof. Renius, Prof. Söhne, Prof. Schwanghart). It is planned to transfer this stock into a sub-collection of its own. Until then, only individual sections will be accessible here via a selection table. The entire collection will be accessible as before via "Agricultural Systems Engineering / Technical University of München LTW" and via the advanced search!



Content: Total stock with a total of 5,392 images with keywords and classification in the collection "Images within the AgTecCollection". For the exclusive use of objects from the Chair of Agricultural Engineering, a selective choice is available according to object areas and display forms. In it, in the left and the right column the following directories can be accessed: Vehicles, Drive technology, Soil cultivation, Crop protection, Harvesting technology, Livestock husbandry technology (A specific structuring is planned for later!), or specific forms of presentation may be selected via (List) in the selected folder.

Present situation: Within a cooperation contract all slides (Glas, format 80 * 90 mm, black&white only) from the Humboldt-Universität at Berlin have been digitized and recorded with the available informations from a card index (performed at TUM by Prof. Dr. H. Auernhammer, Dr. M. Rothmund and TA M. Berchtold in cooperation with Prof. Dr. J. Hahn, HUB).



Content: Total collection with 5.139 pictures from all subjects in Agricultural Engineering classified according to a HUMBOLDT-internal keyword and classification system (all pictures in black and white only)! Folders can be called up directly in the selection table in the left and right columns for Soil cultivation, Seeding and plant husbandry, Harvesting, Threshing and storage, Indoor facilities, Dairy farming, House and farmstead facilities, Conveying technology, Agricultural construction engineering, Energy sources, Electricity, Crop cultivation, Tractors, Maintenance facilitities, Technical fountamentals, Material knowledge, Measurement and testing principles, Safety devices and accident prevention and Reginal agricultural engineering. In addition, a specific listing of the desired image types within the directories can be made in the selection table.
