Abstract:
Extant research argues most EMNEs prefer lower-level integrations to manage up-market resources. Yet antecedents have not been fully identified; how and why EMNEs change integrations over time remains unclear. This dissertation tackled the questions of EMNEs' PMI modes and influencing factors in up-markets, with one publication found five organizational cultural dimensions that affect EMNEs’ integration levels, and another developed EMNEs' static integration framework to be a dynamic framework and identified main influencing factors at various integration stages.
