The plasmodia were imaged with a Zeiss Axio Zoom V.16 microscope equipped with a custom-made Pecon stage-top incubation system, a Hamamatsu ORCA-Flash 4.0 digital camera and a Zeiss PlanApo Z 0.5x objective. A green filter (550/50 nm) was placed over the transmission light source of the microscope. Zeiss Zen 3.2 (blue edition) software was used for imaging. Beschreibung:
This is a collection of datasets obtained from brightfield microscopy of small plasmodia of the slime mold Physarum polycephalum on 1.5% agar, partly with 10% SDM (semi-defined medium). Migration of the plasmodia was imaged at a frame rate of 4 minutes over the course of days, with a resolution of 10.8 micron/pixel and a field of view of 8x8 cm.
