Das Screening ist eine wichtige Maßnahme zur Prävention von Gebärmutterhalskrebs Das bisherige zytologische Screening stößt jedoch bei der Erkennung von Krankheiten an Grenzen, insbesondere mit den modernen diagnostischen Tests auf humane Papillomaviren (HPV). In dieser Dissertation werden optimale Screening-Strategien, insbesondere mit HPV-Tests, untersucht und die Nachuntersuchung im Rahmen eines Screening-Algorithmus bewertet.
