Abstract:
In this thesis, we treat different aspects of the Optimal Transport theory. Firstly, we present a new class of Optimal Transport costs for non-negative measures with possibly different masses obtained by a convex relaxation procedure of a cost for non-negative Dirac measures. Secondly, we introduce and investigate a notion of multivalued dissipative operator in the 2-Wasserstein space on a separable Hilbert space. Finally, we prove a general criterium for the density of sub-algebras of Lipschitz functions in metric-Sobolev spaces and we apply this result to the 2-Wasserstein space.

In dieser Dissertation behandeln wir verschiedene Aspekte der Theorie des optimalen Transports.
Zuerst, stellen wir eine neue Klasse optimaler Transportkosten für nichtnegative Maße mit möglicherweise unterschiedlichen Massen vor, die durch ein konvexes Relaxationsverfahren von Kosten für nichtnegative Diracmaße erhalten werden. Im Anschluss, führen wir einen Begriff des mehrwertigen dissipativen Operators im 2-Wasserstein-Raum auf einem trennbaren Hilbertraum ein und untersuchen ihn. Zuletzt, beweisen wir ein allgemeines Kriterium für die Dichte von Unteralgebren von lipschitzstetigen Funktionen in metrischen Sobolev-Räumen und wenden dieses Ergebnis auf den 2-Wasserstein-Raum an.
